Direct ERP

ZATCA e-invoicing (Fatoora)

A correct e-invoice for every business, whatever its tax profile

Direct ERP is built on the e-invoicing specifications of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) for both phases. It knows your business may not be registered for VAT yet, may be registered but not yet in an integration wave, or integrated — and each document is issued under the profile in force on its day.

Three tax profiles

Not registered

A business not registered for VAT: invoices without VAT, VAT number or QR code, and the receipt says so plainly.

Registered (phase 1)

Invoices with VAT, the VAT number and the phase 1 QR code, stored in structured form and exportable as an archive, with no ZATCA integration yet.

Integrated (phase 2)

Simplified invoices are signed on the till and reported to ZATCA; standard invoices are cleared by ZATCA before they are shared with the buyer.

You move between profiles on a date you choose: registered for VAT from the first of the month? Reached by your integration wave? The profile changes on that day, and what was issued before stays as it was issued.

Signing on the device

Each till has its own e-invoicing unit registered with ZATCA: the signing key is created on the device and never leaves it, and the counter and hash chain advance with each invoice in the same transaction — so the till signs offline and reports when the connection returns.

  • Unit onboarding with an OTP from the Fatoora portal
  • No editing of an invoice's time or counter, and no exporting its key
  • The owner is alerted if a chain breaks or reporting runs late

What the system does for you

Reporting and retries

Reporting of simplified invoices and clearance of standard ones in order for each branch, automatic retries for what did not get through, and ZATCA's messages in Arabic.

Correct corrections

An issued invoice is never edited or deleted; a correction is a credit or debit note linked to the original.

Archive

Signed XML files and invoice PDFs kept for the period the law requires, and a phase 1 archive when you need one.

The VAT return

The VAT return from the ledger's own entries, for the registered days only. Accounting & VAT

No overclaiming

ZATCA does not «certify» e-invoicing software. What we say is that Direct ERP implements its published specifications, that its documents are checked in our tests with ZATCA's official validation tool, and that your units are onboarded from the Fatoora portal with your own code.
